The tube is connected to a source of high suction and passed within the fatty tissue so that unwanted fat cells are loosened and suctioned away. This surgical procedure can be performed on an outpatient basis, under either general or local anesthesia, depending on the preference of surgeon and patient. What happens after ? Most patients experience some bruising,
minimal discomfort and swelling which may last for a few weeks.
Most patients resume normal activity or return to work within a
few days of the surgery. It takes up to six months before the
